Spirituality Page: Wheel of the Year: Lammas

Lammas: August 1

Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh (pronounced Loo-nas-ah), is the first harvest festival of the year. Lammas marks the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. The days are growing visibly shorter as the temperatures start to cool. Gone are the high temperatures of the lazy summer days.
