Ginger Crisps

Ginger Crisps - Food of the God - (OK, they're just my Grandfather's favorite - but in my eyes as a kid he WAS a God - thanks for humoring me!) These make a great Beltane recipe.

  • 3/4 c brown sugar
  • 1/4 c butter (melted)
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c flour (sifted)
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1/4 t salt

Combine brown sugar, butter and egg in one bowl.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in another bowl.

Pour dry into wet bowl and mix well.

Drop 1 t dough 2" apart onto greased (or non-stick) cookie sheet.

Bake at 325 for 10-12 minutes.
